I finished the score mix on Deep Burial today with composer Christian Davis. It was great to work with Christian again as it’s been a couple of years since he left the womb of Remote Control to venture out into the wild world of the independent film composer. He’s done really well for himself and this project was a great way for us to reconnect.

Deep Burial stars Tom Sizemore  and Dominic Monaghan (you’d know him as one of the Hobbits). Both put in superb performances as two different types of psychopaths on a futuristic earth.

On the technical side, it was all mixed in the box with Pro Tools 10 in Studio B at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control (my home away from home). It’s a synth and sound design heavy score so I got to have a lot of fun with the surrounds.
