Volker Bertelmann scored this amazing series for Showtime. It was an intense project which dealt with substance abuse and child abuse. Volker’s score, which is different for each episode, to help show the growth of the character, was fun to mix because there were so many different character developments to sculpt. Obviously there were the dramatic parts, but it was also hilarious in some parts and just silly in others. If you haven’t seen the series, I can’t recommend it enough. Benedict was phenomenal
